Banana Bread Oats – Quick Whoats

Banana bread oats. The first recipe I’d like to share is my typical everyday breakfast – quick oats. It’s simple and quick yet very versatile. I call them whoats simply because when I first made oatmeal for my husband his response was: “Whoa”. As many times as I’ve eaten oatmeal I’ve never gotten sick from it, the variety of toppings are endless and you feel like you’re eating something new everyday. For this recipe you will need a 20 Oz stoneware ramekin (with a lid)

Instructions
  1. Start boiling the water (I use an electric kettle since it’s quicker than the stove). You can of course use the stove to boil your water as well. Pour the oats into the ramekin bowl, add the vanilla, cinnamon and the boiled water. Place the lid on and let sit for about 15-20 minutes. Add the rest of your toppings, mix and enjoy!
